Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in .NET development and a strong background in production support. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management abilities, technical proficiency in .NET technologies, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects while ensuring the smooth operation of production systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on .NET development and production support.
Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks.
Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in software engineering.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Agile (e.g., Scrum Master) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects within defined timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders and senior management.
Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate expertise in .NET technologies and frameworks, including but not limited to C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in architecting, designing, and implementing .NET solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in .NET development and leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Production Support:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of production systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Respond promptly to production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Establish and maintain proactive monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement preventive measures.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers and technical professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote professional development opportunities.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and excellence in performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Create comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, requirements, design documents, and technical specifications.
- Generate regular reports on project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics to track project health and performance.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.
