Technical Project Manager-Retirement
Location: NYC NY (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office, No Remote).

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager- retirement and lead technical projects related to retirement plans.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the retirement plan industry, with a focus on managing projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals within the investment banking and retirement sectors.
  • Analyze and document complex business processes and system requirements, ensuring alignment with technological strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to effectively deliver tech solutions.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of technology projects, managing resources, and schedules and
  • Define and manage the work streams & task allocations through JIRA
  • Conduct market analysis to stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes that impact the retirement and investment banking domains.
  • Utilize knowledge of investment banking and retirement products like 401k, IRA, Rollovers etc to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage and update project plans, including integration, scope, time, quality, communications, and risk assessments.
  • Facilitate communication and provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Oversee testing efforts, including creating test plans, test cases, and managing user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and the technology landscape within the investment banking and retirement space.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
  • Experience with project management software and BA tools.
