Role: UI/UX Designer Location: NYC, NY Type: Contract Job Description: Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, A e XD, or Sketch. Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout. Experience with creating and adhering to design systems. Front-End Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Expertise in CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or custom CSS styling. Ability to convert Figma/Sketch mockups into responsive web pages. Responsive Design: Strong knowledge of mobile-first design and cross-browser compatibility. Familiarity with tools like Sass, LESS, or other CSS preprocessors. UX Research and Testing: Experience with conducting usability tests and incorporating feedback into designs. Familiarity with user-centered design processes and tools like Hotjar or Google Analytics for behavior analysis. Version Control and Collaboration: Proficiency in using version control systems like Git. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and technical details. Ability to guide and mentor a team when required. Design and implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications. Develop responsive, high-performance front-end solutions using modern frameworks and technologies. Collaborate with UX designers to translate Figma or A e XD mockups into pixel-perfect, scalable, and responsive designs. Create and maintain reusable UI components and design systems. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability. Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to refine designs and improve user experience. Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of UI with application logic. Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX development
