Network Administrator
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid Onsite)(Need Locals)
Duration: 12+ months contract

We are looking for a senior Network Administrator to maintain a reliable, secure and efficient data communications network. The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain and monitor all active network equipment in order to ensure smooth network operation. The candidate would have 7+ years of infrastructure administration and 5+ years of experience in network administration preferably using Cisco products.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
Please note that you MUST currently be in the Greater Irvine, CA area and able to work on-site a minimum of 2 days per week. No exceptions.
What you will be responsible for:

  • Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls
  • Install and integrate new network hardware and appliances
  • Support and administer third-party data feeds
  • Ensure network security and connectivity
  • Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
  • Research and make recommendations on network system administration
  • Specify system requirements and design solutions

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of infrastructure technology administration
  • 5+ years of network administration
  • Knowledge of Cisco route/switch and Palo Alto firewalls preferred
  • CCNA required, CCNP or CCIE preferred, PCNSA or PCNSE preferred
  • Experience with Cisco DNA Center and NDFC is a plus
