We are seeking experienced ServiceNow Solution Architects / Senior Developers to join a long-term federal project based in Woodlawn, MD. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge ServiceNow technologies in a secure and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategies for effectively leveraging ServiceNow services and capabilities.
- Develop and manage Agile-based work plans and schedules to drive development activities.
- Lead a team of ServiceNow developers in delivering high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
- Ensure that all deliverables meet established requirements and exceed client expectations.
- Drive innovation and adoption of best practices in ServiceNow architecture and development.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience across platform applications (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR, and Asset Management).
- 5+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect.
- 5+ years in application/data source integration with ServiceNow.
- 5+ years of experience designing and leading complex solutions and integrations.
- 3+ years in a team leadership role with a strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
- Prior experience working on U.S. Federal Government contracts.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Project management, requirements gathering, and Agile development methodologies.
- U.S. Government Public Trust clearance eligibility (required).
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Certifications
- Required or Highly Preferred:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or Certified Master Architect
- One or more of the following:
- Certified System Administrator
- Certified Application Developer
- CIS – ITSM, CSM, Discovery, Service Mapping, SPM, APM, SAM, HAM
- Additional Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL v4 Foundations
- Agile or Project Management Certification
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in Web technologies: X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular, JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java.
- Experience in implementing JavaScript for ServiceNow automation.
- Integration using REST and SOAP protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Business Rules, Workflows, Identification Rules, Workspaces, and Portals.
- Familiarity with authentication protocols and directories (SAML, Active Directory, LDAP).
- Additional ServiceNow certifications in any module are a strong plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 7 years of professional experience.
