Our client is looking for a Website Editor for a 6+ month remote project working 8a-5p PST hours.
Detailed scope of work:
Vendor will provide a Website Editor with proven experience and proficiency in editing web content for SEO and readability as well as the ability to guide the optimization and production of content to maximize visitor engagement and reach.
The Website editor s duties will include:
Independently review web upload requests via an enterprise Web Content Management System workflow to ensure requests meet editorial, brand, web content architecture and other web standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor a comprehensive set of web content policies and related reports within our quality assurance tool, coordinating with and supporting web editors to optimize and maintain website content quality in alignment with standards.
Evaluate web content and other related aspects to assess SEO and readability, advising web editors on best practices around SEO and readability, editing web content to maximize visitor engagement and SEO authority.
Regularly work in our team s project management tool to identify, track, collaborate and complete assigned work.
Use the enterprise web CMS to make edits to existing websites and add pages using content as directed.
Should have an eye for detail and be customer-service focused, as this person will work with internal users on a daily bases.
