Our client is looking to bring a Workday Financials AP/GL Architect onto their team on a fully remote and contract basis. This will be a 3 months project plus likely extensions. This is a 40 hour per week engagement!
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
You will focus on reviewing how procurement and receiving activities trigger AP and GL events, helping tie transactions back to financial reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail in identifying root causes of anomalies, collaborating with the SCM counterpart, and supporting the client in establishing scalable, accurate finance processes. Availability during standard EST hours is essential, with high-touch collaboration expected.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Workday Financials (AP and GL focus)
- Strong understanding of how inventory transactions affect financial accounting
- Ability to interpret lifecycle data from receive/invoice/pay into GL
- Familiarity with post-go-live audit and config reviews
