Position: Workday HCM Implementation (HR Management module)
Location: Madison, WI (100% Remote )
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a Workday implementation contractor that will play a key role in the successful implementation of Workday Human Resource Management modules.
The successful candidate with have a proven track record and focus on implementation experience as opposed to post production support
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to HR needs.
- Lead and support the implementation of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Compensation, Time Tracking and Attendance, Reporting and Analytics, and Talent Optimization and Recruiting.
- Configure Workday system to align with client-specific HR policies, processes, and organizational structures.
- Lead testing efforts, manage the execution of system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Provide end-user training and support during the implementation process. Develop desk-top procedures, end user documentation, business process maps and other reference/training materials as needed.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to educate client stakeholders on Workday functionality and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to client teams during data migration, testing, and deployment phases.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in implementing Workday HCM solutions, with a focus on Core HR, Compensation, Talent Optimization is required.
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM Management modules.
- Experience with data migration, integration, and reporting within Workday.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, including but not limited to employee lifecycle management, compensation planning, and performance evaluation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Workday HCM certification(s) required.
