We are looking for someone with SSRS as the project will focus on converting a large number of SSRS reports into BO/ BusinessObjects 4.x and experience providing business intelligence support to a large customer base.
Job Description:
- The BusinessObjects Developer, BI Client Services, is responsible for providing customer support of BusinessObjects (BOBJ) to associates.
- Responsibilities include issue/request resolution, tool training and use support, system administration and report development/maintenance.
- Qualified candidates have hands-on experience with BusinessObjects 4.x and experience providing business intelligence support to a large customer base.
- The BusinessObjects Developer has excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Essential Functions:
- Service Delivery
- Provide technical support, analysis assistance and training for BusinessObjects suite of tools to internal customer base.
- Expert in design and development complex reports using SAP BusinessObjects 4.3 Web Intelligence
- Create and update technical and functional documentation such as operational procedures, training materials, etc
- Follow department client service strategies and standards related to ways of working, service level agreements and providing positive customer experiences
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and other support staff
- Share BOBJ knowledge and best practices across the user base
- Assist with change management efforts to drive adoption of new BOBJ tools, governance, and reporting processes
- Converting SSRS Reports into BO reports
Planning
- Collect and document application enhancement needs
- Support the definition and scope for the deployment of BOBJ tools
- Work with the training team to plan, develop and deliver BOBJ training
Skillset / Experience:
BO/BI Developer
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects 4.x to include WEBI, Information Design Tool (IDT)
- Ability to analyze complex business reporting requirements and develop innovative solutions
- Perform requirement analysis; provide effort estimation Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC and QA/Testing methodologies and deliverables.
- Experience with excel refreshable
- Experience with SQL
- Strong client service orientation (customer support experience preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable speaking/presenting to groups
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Bachelor's Degree
