Job Description: 
 

The CLM Business Analyst will play a vital role in the successful implementation of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) System for the Department of Children and Families (DCF). This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and ensuring that the CLM system aligns with DCF’s operational needs and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the CLM system.

•  Process Analysis: Evaluate current contract management processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation using the CLM system.

•  System Configuration: Work with the CLM Configuration Engineer to ensure the system is configured to meet business requirements.

•  Integration Support: Assist in the integration of the CLM system with DCF’s enterprise systems, including:

o  Identity Access Management: Okta

o  Enterprise Data Warehouse: Azure Synapse

o  Integration Platform: Mulesoft

o  IT Service Management: ServiceNow

o  Enterprise Rules Engine: InRule or IBM CloudPak for Automation

o  Master Client Index, MDM Platform: Inzata

o  Enterprise Document Management System: OnBase

o  Data Analytics Tool: Microsoft Power BI

o  E-Signature Tool: DocuSign

o  Address Validation Tool: SmartyStreets

o  Cloud Infrastructure: DCF Cloud Environment or Vendor SaaS Environment

•  Documentation: Create detailed functional specifications, process maps, and user stories to guide system configuration and development.

•  Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure the CLM system meets business requirements and functions correctly.

•  Training and Support: Develop training materials and provide training sessions for end-users. Offer ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of the CLM system.

•  Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, including project managers, technical teams, and end-users, to ensure alignment and address any issues.

Qualifications:

•  Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

o  Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, preferably with a focus on contract lifecycle management systems or similar enterprise systems.

o  Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and process analysis.

•  Technical Skills:

o  Familiarity with CLM systems and enterprise integration.

o  Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools.

o  Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., MS Visio, JIRA, Confluence).

Soft Skills:

o  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

o  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

o  Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) are a plus.
