Direct Client Requirement
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves working closely with rate audit, development, engineering, and rating support teams to support and enhance both on-premises and cloud-hosted rating systems. Key responsibilities include data analysis, requirements gathering, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities:
· Analyze: Understand carrier rating and data, internal rating systems, and query databases for custom analysis and QA scenarios (data exports, data analysis, QA).
· Research: Investigate unknown data mappings and update system configurations to optimize accuracy and revenue.
· Subject Matter Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of parcel rating systems and contribute expertise to team discussions.
· Collaboration: Work with team members to design technical solutions that improve efficiency and drive revenue.
· Support: Respond to internal support requests in a timely manner, analyze issues, and communicate effectively with end users to determine optimal solutions.
· Jira Management: Share responsibility for managing the Jira backlog, tracking tasks, and ensuring smooth project workflows.
· Documentation: Create technical requirements, operational documentation, and process flow documentation for development, rating, and DevOps teams.
· Team Support: Work closely with and serve as a backup to other team members.
· Availability: Be on call for emergencies and off-peak production work when necessary.
