Job Title- Sr. .NET Developer
Location - Indianapolis IN 46204
Short Description:
The Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) is
seeking a Senior .NET Developer to work in the IT division.
Complete Description:
Candidate must currently be local to Indianapolis. Sr . NET Developer is responsible to
maintain a number of stabilized .NET applications developed in VB.net, C# with
Oracle, and SQL servers as databases. The software developer position is to analyze
software requirements, designing, developing, testing, and implementing the new systems
or make enhancements to existing applications according to specifications from
program team.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities:
.Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported MVC framework, C# programming language for the development of the applications.
Senior-level full-stack development experience with .Net technologies.
Use object-oriented techniques and best practices to analyze, design, develop, unit testing, and deployment.
Convert existing applications to .NET Framework with additional security features.
Document all deliverables and perform system unit testing and validation of procedures.
Work with the program area team on technical issues including system design and testing.
Analyzing information to recommend and plan the development and implementation of new systems or modifications of an existing system.
Work with Program team members on detailed business requirements, understanding
business processes and technology, agency standards, and ensuring project goal
alignment.
Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
Work with the project manager to ensure the project plan is maintained and project
milestones are met.
Have the ability to work independently and under general supervision with the opportunity for independent judgment.
Responsible for modifying existing applications due to changes in technology, security, state or federal law changes and national standards.
Proven contribution to creating responsive websites for desktop, tablet, and
mobile platforms.
Prior experience in React. Js and Node. Js is also welcome if the candidate is
willing to work on any stacks.
Understanding of HTML5, AngularJS, React, Node.js, and Mongo to convert Wireframes and PSD
Designs into workable web apps
JavaScript object models and UI element binding.
Experience using asynchronous RESTful services (JSON)
