This Business Process Risk Identification (BPRI) Process Engineer position is within the Next Gen Enterprise Transformation (nGet) organization???s support of the BPRI program.  A BPRI Process Engineer???s primary responsibility is to utilize diverse types of documentation to understand a Unique Business Process and develop program-appropriate process maps while facilitating collaboration across multiple lines of business and risk partners.
Roles and Resposibilities:
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timeframes and usher process maps through multiple review and feedback cycles
  • Possess critical thinking skills to conceptualize, apply, analyze, and evaluate information gathered as a guide to action
  • Demonstrate the ability to gather information, understand the material, and independently develop process maps using both lines of business and alternatively sourced documentation, coupled with the squad, line of business, and risk partner collaboration
  • Facilitate process map walk-through working sessions to elicit, capture, and effectively implement partner-provided feedback
  • Complete associated business process mapping linkages within process maps to document risks, controls, and other relevant items
  • Ability to understand business processes, risk, and control inventories
  • Application of critical thinking skills to participate in providing feedback and recommendations on business process design along with associated risks and controls.
Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in banking with emphasis on business process modeling, analysis, compliance, and/or risk management
  • Strong organization skills and ability to independently, manage multiple concurrent and diverse activities, with the ability to shift focus based on changing and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to be initiative-taking, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, and various web-based software applications
  • Working knowledge of process engineering software systems
  • Basic technology knowledge
  • Possess strong people skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse audiences, to develop and sustain collaborative relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust the approach based on the intended audience
  • Skilled in the use of IBM Blueworks Live.
