Title: PMO Project Manager
Location: Austin TX - Hybrid
Contract: 12+ months
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will have a PMO Governance focus and oversee the Project Management This role requires collaborating with leaders, setting project objectives and business cases, and ensuring that the implementation is delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.
Responsibilities for project manager, PMO
- The Project Manager applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project team and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks- State/federal Govenment experience preferred
- 5-7 years of Program and project management office (PMO) experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager handling ad-hoc requests portfolio governance activates
- Demonstrated capability in standard office and project management applications - Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project
- Oversee the daily progress of the project with regard to time, budget, scope, and quality
- Responsible to thoroughly understand and communicate stakeholder requirements to appropriate team members and manage all requirements accordingly
- Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and department goals
- Data maintenance and reporting as needed
- Maintain timelines and target dates in chosen tools
- PMP Certification is preferred
