Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage data migration processes, specifically extracting, transforming, and loading data from non-SAP systems into SAP. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP BODS, SAP Materials Management, and be well-versed in various SAP tools and modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Migration:
    • Extract, transform, and load data from non-SAP systems to SAP using SAP BODS.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
  • SAP Tools Proficiency:
    • Utilize SAP tools such as LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), BDC (Batch Data Communication), and IDOC (Intermediate Document) for effective data migration.
    • Apply SAP Materials Management knowledge to manage data related to procurement and inventory processes.
  • Functional Understanding:
    • Possess a strong functional understanding of SAP Master Data, including Material, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Vendor, Customer, and Planned Independent Requirements (PIR).
    • Handle Transactional Data such as Open Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Account Balances, and Production Orders.
  • Data Quality:
    • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and standardization to ensure high-quality data.
    • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies and discrepancies.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data migration.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates on progress.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in data migration projects involving SAP BODS.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Materials Management and related business processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP tools such as LSMW, BDC, and IDOC.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Master Data and Transactional Data.
  • Excellent data profiling, cleansing, and standardization skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
