SAP Functional Consultant 

(in any one of the SAP Modules mentioned below number 1). from point 2 its common needed.

Key Skills:

  1. Expertise in Key SAP Modules:
    • Finance and Controlling (FI/CO): Knowledge of financial accounting, controlling, financial reporting, asset accounting, and profitability analysis.
    • Materials Management (MM): Understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, material master data, and purchasing.
    • Sales and Distribution (SD): Familiarity with order management, pricing, billing, and sales reporting.
    • Other Modules (e.g., PP, QM, PM): Knowledge of production planning, quality management, plant maintenance, etc., as required by specific projects.
  2. Business Process Analysis:
    • Ability to analyze and document business processes.
    • Understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
    • Experience in process optimization and re-engineering.
  3. S/4 HANA Functionality:
    • Knowledge of S/4 HANA-specific functionalities and enhancements over traditional SAP ECC.
    • Familiarity with the Fiori user experience and its applications.
    • Understanding of the new data model and simplifications in S/4 HANA.
  4. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
    • Experience in conducting workshops and interviews to gather business requirements.
    • Ability to create detailed functional specifications and documentation.
  5. Configuration and Customization:
    • Proficiency in configuring SAP modules to meet business requirements.
    • Ability to customize standard SAP functionalities to tailor to specific business needs.
  6. Testing and Validation:
    • Experience in developing test cases and conducting various testing phases (unit, integration, user acceptance).
    • Ability to validate the system configuration and customizations against business requirements.
  7. Training and Support:
    • Skills in creating training materials and conducting user training sessions.
    • Ability to provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze Business Processes and Map to S/4 HANA Functionalities:
    • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their processes and requirements.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
    • Map existing business processes to standard S/4 HANA functionalities or develop custom solutions where necessary.
  2. Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, MM, SD) based on business requirements.
    • Customize SAP functionalities using the IMG (Implementation Guide) to tailor the system to specific business needs.
  3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
    • Conduct workshops and interviews with business users to gather detailed requirements.
    • Document functional specifications, business process designs, and configuration settings.
  4. Testing and Validation:
    • Develop and execute test cases to ensure the configured system meets business requirements.
    • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
    • Validate the system configuration and customizations against business requirements.
  5. Training and User Support:
    • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-go-live.
    • Assist users in navigating the system and resolving issues.
