We are looking for a full-time contractor or employee to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst

Required Skills:

Eliciting requirements through customer interviews and creating well-written system requirements documents.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in business process re-engineering and improving software process flows.
Developing user stories and use cases that adhere to business analysis best practices.
Designing mockups and wireframes following UX best practices.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong writing and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

Documented experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements."
Experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira."
Experience working for or collaborating closely with TEA or another state or local education agency.
Experience with one or more of the following TEA applications: FSP, TSDS, TEA Help Desk.
