Job Title: Senior Project Analyst / Manager

Description-Leads small projects or supports large projects/programs. The individual has a working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and templates and contributes to the development and maintenance of work products or change programs. They ensure that business requirements are effectively captured and are responsible for effective tracking and reporting of project management information and highlighting and supporting resolution of areas of risk in project delivery.
Typical Accountabilities-
The Senior Project Analyst is expected to perform at Capable level in the following:
Business Needs Identification - Operates at a functional level in assessing and defining business need and areas for improvement. Proactively seeks out opportunities to enhance and improve in line with strategic goals, proposing potential solutions through research.
Business Analysis Planning - Selects the appropriate analysis approach to a piece of work depending on its complexity, level of risk, known assumptions, constraints, and dependencies. Proficient in scoping and recommending appropriate approaches. Capable of planning and managing their own activities to meet deliverables and deadlines.
Stakeholder Analysis & Change - Effectively identifies stakeholders and builds and maintains relationships according to individual stakeholder needs and levels of influence. Contributes to communication plans and change management for project and stakeholders.
Requirements Analysis and Design Definition - Responsible for requirements management plans including elicitation, approvals, processes, RAID and scope impacts.
Business Case and Benefits Management Supports the business case definition, capturing business justification for investment and benefits realization.
Solution Evaluation - Analyzes and assesses solution proposals and able to articulate supporting reasoning. i.e. assessing business readiness, maximizing value vs. spend.
Primary
Build business cases in support of key decisions, and assisting in the development of supporting documentation
Diagnose issues, prioritize and escalate when needed
Recognize areas for improvement and develop plans to implement
Identify potential risks and mitigants
Elicit and document project requirements in a variety of formats
Schedule, facilitate and take minutes of meetings with workstream leads
Document and track project decisions and tasks
Create and maintain project timelines
Clear roadblocks to allow the project team to work efficiently and effectively
Perform other duties as assigned
Essential:
Experience of using business analysis tools/techniques to design and deliver business change
Strong engagement, communication and facilitation skills, including presentation and influencing skills
Experience of working in a regulated environment
Experience of working with third party suppliers/vendors
Evidence of excellent communication skills and building excellent relationships internally and externally Business acumen

Desirable :
Degree in relevant discipline or formal certification in business analysis practice
Exposure to Agile Methodology

Experience of working in Greater Boston area, ideally in Kendall Square
