Overview of the Profile
  • Both a big picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver with Knowledge and skills are both broad and deep.
  • Designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points.
  • Good mix of technical and enterprise skills to architect a scalable long-term solution in alignment with Customer s growth plans
  • Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions.
  • Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices.
  • Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture.
  • Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, Marketing, and Community Clouds.
  • Extensive experience in SFDC Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, SFDC Identity and Security, SFDC Development and Customization, Salesforce Experience Cloud, SFDC Sharing and Visibility, Salesforce DevOps, SFDC Data, SFDC Lightning, SFDC Integration, and SFDC Configuration.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, data management, and security features
  • Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
  • Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
  • Expert-level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable the achievement of the desired business outcomes.
  • Able to set the strategy and management plan for Salesforce Instances and when integrating with internal or external systems
  • Lead and mentored development teams and individuals on personal and project-specific levels
  • Technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement, determining project scope, sizing, scheduling, and constraints, identify risks and contingency plans
  • Expertise in designing and implementing complex integrations with external systems
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices
  • Proven experience leading technical delivery on large Salesforce projects
 
Key responsibilities:
Technical Design and Architecture:
  • Lead technical design sessions, architecture and documenting detailed technical solutions aligned with client business objectives.
  • Define and design data models for small to large data volumes, Data retention policies, identify integration points, and design data migration strategies.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate Salesforce features and functionalities to meet specific requirements.
 
Custom Development and Integrations:
  • Oversee the development of Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, & SQL and other custom solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations with external systems using APIs and other integration tools.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across systems through data mapping and transformation.
 
Performance Optimization and Scalability:
  • Analyze, Design and optimize Salesforce performance to handle large data volumes and complex workflows.
  • Design Flexible, Adaptable, Scalable solutions to accommodate future business growth.
 
Technical Leadership and Mentoring:
  • Guide development teams on best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior developers and administrators.
  • Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and manage expectations.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
