We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Engineer to join our team. This role demands deep expertise in data governance, data quality, and data management, with a strong focus on Snowflake, MarTech ecosystems, and Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
8+ years in data governance, with 3+ years working on Snowflake, MarTech, and CDP
Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, policies, metadata management, and data lineage
Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse – ensuring data quality, integrity, and compliance
Familiarity with MarTech platforms, customer data, and governance needs
Experience with tools like Informatica DQ, Talend, Collibra for profiling, cleansing, and quality assessment
Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and data security standards
Advanced SQL skills for data validation and analysis
Strong analytical mindset to identify issues and implement data quality improvements
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with tech, marketing, and compliance teams
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
Certifications such as DAMA CDMP or Snowflake Data Quality are a bonus
