Job: Data: Tableau Developer
Location: 100% Remote.
Term: Approved until 04/2023 will keep extending or option to convert Full-time.
Hours: Standard 8am 5pm CT

HUGE PLUS: Manager would love to see someone who's presented at Tableau Conference, been a part of Iron Viz, and/or an active contributor to a Tableau User Group.
Qualifications Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional experience directly related to all aspects of Tableau (including Tableau CRM, formerly Einstein Analytics) and other BI tools with minimum 2-3 years of focused Tableau experience
- 2-5 years of hands on experience in SQL, data analysis, and ad hoc report building
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau application functionalities and features
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting, performance tuning and reverse engineering Tableau solutions
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau best practices with focus on analytics interpretation, visualization, performance and scalability
- Strong understanding of data modeling, DML, DDL, and deep data analysis working with backend data warehouse, ETL systems, and database/data stores
- Hands-on experience in SQL programming language and scripting
- Experience with Agile, DataOps delivery practices and methodologies
- Preferred experience in related team tech stack of technologies such as Python, Snowflake, Oracle
Desired Experience:
- Advanced experience using Tableau Prep or similar data integrations tools such as Alteryx, Talend, Informatica, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau Server-side functionalities.
- Experience using tabcmd/tsm command-line utilities,Metadata API's, Rest API's, Integrations and Extensions.
- Advanced knowledge of performance diagnosis and optimization (Tabjolt,RMT,Replayer)
- Experience developing in Tableau CRM (aka Einstein Analytics)
- Experience working with Salesforce objects and integration with Tableau
- Active participation and involvement with Tableau Community, Tableau User Groups, and Tableau onboarding are big pluses
Position requires:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology or related program is a preferred or equivalent combination of training and experience.

- Ability and desire to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and partners on a regular basis.
- Effective presentation skills required to drive strategic discussions at various levels in the organization.
- Ability to operate in a complex environment managing partner expectations and participate in several projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams preferred.
