We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Workday custom applications and extensions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Extend and Workday Integrations, with a deep understanding of Workday architecture and integration capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and implement custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration with Workday functional modules and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (design specifications, test plans, and user guides).
- Perform unit testing and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.
- Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend enhancements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Qualifications
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Workday Extend Development (2-3 years)
- Workday Integrations (2-3 years)
- Strong JavaScript, XML, and XSLT experience
- Agile methodology experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Workday PRISM
- Workday Studio
- Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of HR processes and systems
- Workday Extend Certification (preferred)
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Industry Experience:
- Workday Extend development experience in HR implementations is required.
Candidates without direct Workday Extend experience in HR will not be considered.
