This position works closely with Network Security, Application Development, Project Management, and Linux and Microsoft OS Server administration teams and is responsible for all facets related directly to or projects involving Middleware platform and infrastructure. The successful candidate should be highly skilled technically, with the ability to adapt quickly and provide solutions to complex scenarios.nnResponsibilities:nn1. Perform administrator duties for IBM WebSphere Application Servers V7, V8 & V8.5, creating scripts to automate manual tasks.nn2. Build/deploy and maintain WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat and IIS environments.nn3. Adhere to standards, processes, procedure and audit compliance controls. Maintain security audit requirements for Middleware Products.nn4. Design and build automated code deployment systems that simplify development work and make deployments more consistent and issues predictable.nn5. Perform patching, and ensure security compliancenn6. Leverage open source technologies such as Jenkins, Grafana, etc.nnProvide Linux support and develop/maintain Linux/Unix shell scripts. Implement and maintain Linux/Unix security.nPerform appropriate Change Management duties to comply with IT policies and procedures.nPerform appropriate Incident Management duties to comply with IT policies and procedures.nReport progress on a weekly basis of status on all assigned work tasks in a written report.nOn call support and occasional weekend onsite support. Provide L2/L3 support.nCreate process documentation for team and provide internal training to team members.nDocument complex design items through documents and whiteboard sessions.nRequired Experience/Skills:nn5+ years? experience in supporting the Production environment running on Middleware Products such as IBM WebSphere Application V7, V8.5 & 9.0, IHS and IIS.n2+ years of experience in Tomcat, Apache HTTP server and Oracle WebLogicn3+ years of experience with installation and maintenance of software on Windows and Linux/Unix.n2+ years of working experience with Jenkins pipelines (declarative scripts)n3+ years? experience with Windows, Linux (Centos, RHEL, SLES) and AIX.nProficiency with shell scripts, such as bash or sh. nExperience with applying patches to middleware environments.nExperience supporting audits and providing evidence of compliancenExperience in analyzing memory leaks, thread dumps and heap dumps.nProven ability to design automated CI/CD solutions for our middleware and IIS environment.nKnowledge of Jenkins pipelines to deliver automated deployments and testing.nExperience with creating and maintaining certificates using openssl, keytool, SSL protocols, ciphers and other security requirements. nnPreferred Experience/Skills:nnKnowledge/experience working with Citrix Load Balancers and Edge servers.nKnowledge/experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, subversion, Maven and Ansible.n3.
