Q3 registers a 15 percent increase in tech jobs demand
Washington DC. November 15, 2010: The demand for Information Technology professionals
is increasing as more US firms are hiring people with key skill sets to boost their
business. 2010 third quarter shows 15 percent jump in Tech jobs posting for most
of the skills compared to the same period in 2009. The months of August and September
this year saw the biggest demand for technology professionals compared to the last
few quarters.
The growth in IT Consulting and Contracting job report is based on jobs posted by
random sample of 700 employers. Over 6,000 IT consulting/staffing companies registered
